The story in these images is a gentle one. Children tucked in close, mums slowing down, that feeling of being safe and held. Nothing posed or rushed, just time together exactly as it is right now. This is the heart of what I photograph.

As a family photographer based in Carlisle, Cumbria, my focus is always on people and connection. I photograph families in a calm, natural way, letting moments unfold. The quiet cuddles, the soft smiles, the way children reach for their mum without thinking. These are the details that tell the real story of family life.

Six months in, and so much already said without words 🤍
A steady little sit, curious eyes, hands learning how things feel. This age is one of my favourites to photograph because it is where personality really starts to show, while they are still small enough to curl into a basket and feel safe there 🧺

This image is part of what I love most about being a people photographer 📷
It is not about perfect poses, but about noticing who a child is becoming and gently preserving that moment for their family.

I am a people photographer based in Carlisle, Cumbria, specialising in family, maternity and newborn photography 🌿
Sessions are calm and baby-led, with time to pause when little ones need it.

This stage is also the final chapter of my Life’s beautiful beginnings package 🤍
Three photo sessions capturing maternity, newborn photography usually within the first three weeks, and a little sitter session at around six months old, telling the story of your family’s earliest days.
