The Wedding
The Wedding day started out looking as if the rain would come at any minute as the bride got ready for her big day. When I arrived at 8:30am at Adele’s parents house, where Adele was getting ready her make up was already half completed and all was very calm and relaxed. To be honest this set the tone for the day as it was a very relaxed wedding with very little stress points. After getting her hair styled and dress on it was time for some family photos in dad’s garden.
Whilst all this was happening the second photographer Joshua was at Michael’s house where a number of Michael’s family had arrived to get ready and to help him get ready. Michael probably had the greatest stress on his wedding day as when he came to use the car he found a fault, so someone else had to take him to Stoneybeck Inn at Penrith.
The wedding was Disney themed, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse as balloons greeting people at the entrance and the tables all named after Disney films. Around the room were members of the Disney cast from some of Adele and Michael’s favourite films.
After the ceremony, Michael and Adele and all the guests managed to get outside to the garden area and enjoy the sun that was pushing through the clouds.
The Couple
Adele and Michael met whilst learning Animal Care at college when they were 16 years old. In 2001 they got together again after Michael moved from Derby. They started ringing each other and Adele clocked up a telephone bill for over £900!
They both have a love for films especially Disney films or Sci-Fi like Star Wars, and a date night usually consists of going to the pictures after going for food. They both love pizza, beefburgers or a carvery – hence why they had a carvery for their wedding breakfast.
They feel they complete each other, they bounce off each other; are 2 sides of the coin – says Michael
Adele says Michael cares a lot and would do anything for her and Mia
I asked Adele why they had decided upon Stoneybeck Inn for their wedding venue. She told me that “Dennis had said it is used a lot for funerals”. This didn’t put her off and so she went to look around and loved how it is so rustic and opens out into the garden. It was a safe place for the kids to play, as there were about twenty children at the wedding.
