Lake District Pre Wedding Photography
Choosing a Lake District pre wedding photography location can be really difficult but for this couple, their photo location choice needed no thinking about.
Rachel and Adam met each other through a mutual friend around 8 years ago. They instantly got on and found they had loads of things in common, mainly their love of cars.
It was through their love of cars that they found the location that Keltic Rose Photography used for their pre wedding photographs.
The location could have been many places in the lake district and all are fantastic for wedding photography, like Honister pass, Thirlmere or the beautiful Buttermere.
In the end the location that they choose, was the location that they love to drive out to. It was there that Adam proposed 5 years ago and it has a fantastic view on any sort of day. The day we choose it was a beautiful full sunshine day and as we all stood in the shadow of the Hallin Fell overlooking Ullswater and the little hamlet of Howtown I could see why they loved the area so much.
Rachel said that “eventually they decided to stop spending money on their cars and decided to book their wedding instead, but cars will still be involved on the wedding day.”.
The wedding was planned for later this year, but as you can imagine with the coronavirus pandemic and weddings currently being suspended Rachel and Adam have decided to wait a bit longer and have unfortunately postponed their wedding until next year.
For this lovely couple having to wait more month to be married is disappointing. The bright side is that at least it gives us time to go back to St Peter’s Church Martindale for another pre wedding photo session.
Pre Wedding Photo sessions are part of my full day wedding photography coverage. This link describes the reasons for having a pre wedding photo session and if you are getting married in the Lake District or around Carlisle Cumbria then please have a look at the work of Keltic Rose Photography and do get in touch
