I asked Dolores how they met and why they decided to get married near Carlisle.
We met on Match.Com back in 2014. We have been together for 4 years. Our decision to have our Wedding at The Crown Hotel came about when David had a job to survey in Carlisle, asking me to visit with him and stay overnight in a nice hotel by way of treating ourselves. David noticed the Crown Hotel on TripAdvisor, and thinking that it looked nice, decided to reserve a room for the night. When we arrived and entered the Crown Hotel we both felt there was something very special and unique about the Crown. But, little did we know that we were both thinking the same thing – that this would be an excellent venue for our Wedding. The next day we arranged a meeting with Wendy Ambler to set a date and book our Wedding. Our mission was accomplished.
Also, not forgetting our very own photographer, Allan Blackett of Keltic Rose Photography. We came across Allan on a Google search for photographers from the Carlisle area. We were both impressed with Allan’s style of photography and after a phone call and a quick trip for a meeting in Carlisle Allan was hired.
