Maternity and Newborn Photography in the Carlisle Area

Keltic Rose Photography has been a maternity and newborn photographer for over ten years in the Carlisle, Cumbria area.  Louise and Marc came into the photography studio in Denton Holme for a maternity shoot when Louise was 33 weeks pregnant with her first child.  The couple were very excited and not only were they expecting a baby but were also moving house.

Harry Oliver was born early; in fact when I photographed his newborn photoshoot it was the day he should have been born.  He was already 17 days old.

As a newborn and baby photographer I have been mentored and trained by some of the top newborn photographers in the country.  This training has covered soothing, settling and posing you baby as well as the all important safety of your baby. I am also a member of the British Association of Newborn Photographers (BANPAS) an organisation that promotes safe baby poses and photography.

Harry’s newborn photoshoot took around 2½ hours which is about the norm for this sort of session.  Once fed he was really good at settling off to sleep and didn’t disturb when I was posing him.
